The company's Google reviews, with a Clay County section once enough driveways have weighed in
A five-star review from a house an hour away tells you we're competent. One from a block ranch in Bellair or a two-story in Eagle Harbor would tell you we show up here. Google keeps them all on one listing, so this page shows the company's reviews and asks Clay County customers for the second kind on purpose.

Why there is no separate Clay County stream yet
Cook’s works a long territory from one shop in Palm Coast, and a review feed that mixes every market together hides the question an Orange Park homeowner actually has: does this company that’s 58 miles away really perform here? Google offers one listing per business, so every review lands in the same place. What the office can do is ask every Clay County customer for one and keep count. The block below shows the company’s Google reviews as Google holds them; when enough of them come from Clay County addresses, this page gets a section for them.
How the ask happens
At the end of a visit, the technician closes out the work order and the customer receives a link to leave a Google review. That’s it. There is no follow-up script, no incentive and no filtering of who gets the link. If a tune-up in Forest Hammock went badly, that customer gets the same link as the one whose compressor was running again by nine at night.
What Cook’s customers tend to mention
Reading across the company’s reviews, a few subjects come up more than others.
Showing up fast, and again. Customers who bought a system some years back write that the response was still quick when they called again, which is the thing a household at the far end of a 58-mile drive wants to hear.
Technicians by first name. Sean gets named often, usually for explaining what he found in a way a non-technician could follow and for not rushing a hard job.
Jerry on the sales side. When homeowners write about buying a new Lennox system, Jerry’s name tends to appear, generally for a proposal that was clear and for an install crew that did good work.
Equipment that suits the site. Reviewers near the coast mention systems chosen to handle it; on Fleming Island and along River Road the same thinking applies to brackish air.
On time, no delays. Finishing the work when promised is mentioned plainly and often.
What we do with criticism
A negative review is read when it lands and answered publicly. If the complaint is about something we did, we go back and fix it. If it’s about a misunderstanding, we explain, without arguing. We do not ask anyone to take a review down.
About the reviews on this page
Are these reviews from Clay County or from your whole territory?
From the whole territory. Google ties every Cook’s review to the company’s single Palm Coast listing, so the block below is company-wide. Cook’s asks every Orange Park, Fleming Island, Middleburg, Green Cove Springs and Keystone Heights customer for a review, and a Clay County section will be added once there are enough to show.
Do you pay or discount anyone for a review?
No. The technician leaves a link on the work order and that is the whole ask. Paying for reviews violates Google’s rules and would make the page useless to the next person reading it.
What if my experience wasn't good?
Write it anyway, and call us. A critical review from a Lakeside customer gets read by Jerry and answered publicly, and the fix usually matters more to us than the star.
Reviews from Orange Park customers will appear here. Cook's is collecting Google reviews by market so that what you read on this page comes from your own neighbors.
In the meantime, the company-wide reviews are on the Cook's main site.
